Common markets for stainless steel investment castings include defense, oil and gas, medical and many more.Stainless steel can be used in applications where high temperature oxidation resistance is necessary or where high temperature strength is required. Its high chromium content is beneficial for wet corrosion resistance as is its resistance to scaling at elevated temperatures.
